How I work
A clear process, from first look to launch.
Every project follows the same steps: a free review, a fixed quote in writing, safe building on a copy of your store, careful testing and measured results after launch.
Six steps, no surprises
How a project works
The same steps whether it is a quick fix, a redesign or a full store build.
- 01
Free review
Send your store URL, or your plans for a new store. I look at it by hand and send three fixes ranked by impact, free and with no obligation.
- 02
Scope and fixed quote
We agree what to do. You get the scope, the timeline and a fixed price in writing before any work starts.
- 03
Plan and design
For design work, layouts are approved in Figma before any code is written. For fixes, CRO and speed work, you get a plan ranked by impact and effort.
- 04
Build safely
Work happens on a duplicate theme or a development store, so your live store keeps selling. You get a preview link to see progress.
- 05
Test and launch
Everything is tested on real phones and desktops, including cart and checkout, then published when you approve it.
- 06
Measure and improve
After launch I compare the numbers with how things were before, fix anything that comes up and suggest what to improve next.
How long does each step take?
It depends on the scope. The free review usually comes first, and once we agree the work you get a timeline in writing with a proposed start date.
Can I see the work before it goes live?
Yes. Changes are built on a duplicate theme or development store, and you get a preview link to check them on your own devices before anything is published.
What if I want changes during the project?
Small adjustments within the agreed scope are part of the work. Anything new is quoted separately, in writing, before it is done, so the price never changes without your agreement.
How do we communicate?
By email or WhatsApp, whichever you prefer. I reply within one working day and I am your single point of contact throughout.
What do you need from me to start?
Your store URL, your main goal, and once we start, collaborator access to Shopify and read access to GA4. For a new store, any brand assets, product data and examples of stores you like.
Is the process different for a new store?
The steps are the same. The plan and design stage takes longer, because the structure, pages and design are agreed in Figma before the build starts.
